Aquaseal Solvent Free Roof Waterproofer - 25 Litres
Please note that the feb aquaseal solvent free roof waterproofer dries to a black finish and is compatible with a wide range of solar refelctive finishes.
Once dry, this product can be overcoated with feb aquaseal solar reflective roof coat in accordance with the relevant application instructions.
Tools can be cleaned with cold water whilst wet. If dried then white spirit or paraffin should be used.
Solvent free roof waterproofer is a high quality versatile bitumen emulsion of brushing consistency which dries to give a firm, flexible, jointless waterproof membrane on flat roofs, including felt, asphalt and corrugated sheets.
Application
Feb aquaseal solvent free roof waterproofer should be applied by brush. Two or more coats should be used to provide a durable finish. Second and subsequent coats being applied once the previous coats have fully dried. Surfaces may be damp or dry, not wet and brushes may be dampened before and occasionally during use to avoid clogging and ease application. During hot, dry weather application may be assisted by dampening the surface to be treated. For slate roofs, where the roof is in poor condition, where better or longer lasting protection is required the aquaseal reinforced membrane system should be employed.
Feb aquaseal solvent free roof waterproofer is not resistant to rain or frost until it has fully dried. Protect from frost in both storage and use. Do not apply if temperature is below 5°C or if rain is expected within the next few hours. Never coat rooflights, windows or transparent sheets as these may constitute a hidden hazard if disguised.
Coverage
Aquaseal solvent free roof waterproofer should be applied at 1.6m2/litre per coat.
Storage
Store sealed in original containers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and protected from frost.
Shelf life
24 months from date of manufacture when stored in unopened containers, according to the manufacturer's instructions.
