Manufactured from Aluminium, the 200mm x 200mm Felt Trim AF15 External Angle has been created to leave a sturdy and long-lasting finish for mastic asphalt roofing and felt roofing. The fixing of the trim allows the risks of water penetration, voids and capillary action to reduced and removed.
When using galvanised or cadmium nails/screws, secure the trim down with centres no more than 300mm (12") and ensure the ends of each length are firmly secured into place. It's recommended that a minimum of eight fixings per length be used, and a gap of 3mm is left between each to allow for expansion.
To install in built-up felt roofing jobs, dress the first layer of the felt over the kerb and fix the Nutrim into place. Then, fix the top layer over the trim similar as before, and ensure the topmost edge is turned into the hood to eliminate the felt from lifting on the outer edge.
