Corodrain Valleys

The Corodrain range of BBA approved valleys are manufactured in GRP as an economic and durable alternative to using lead and all conform to NFRC Technical Bulletin 28.  Options include both mortar and dry fix solutions.

Corodrain valley troughs can be used on both slate and tiled roofs and with any combination of double or interlocking slates, clay or concrete tiles. Corodrain can also provide a weatherproof seal between roofs of terraced houses or where a new roof needs to join an existing roof.

D-Valleys

Standard Corodrain valley troughs for use with single and double lap tiles. Both standard (type:HD) and heavy duty (type:DX). They incorporate sanded strips (min. width 35mm) for the mortar to bond to.

A-Valleys

Narrow Corodrain valley troughs for use with single and double lap tiles in limited applications. Both standard (type:HA) and heavy duty (type:AX). They incorporate sanded strips (min. width 35mm) for the mortar to bond to. Available in 1.8m, 2.4m and 3m lengths.

B-Valleys

Standard Corodrain valley troughs for use with double lap slates and tiles, which are dry bedded. Both standard (type:HB) and heavy duty (type:BX). Available in 1.8m, 2.4m and 3m lengths.

Unequal Pitches

B & D-Valleys are designed for use where the differential between two rafter pitches is 15˚or less. Industry standards recommend A-Valleys should only be used for pitch differences of 10˚ or less. Available in 1.8m, 2.4m and 3m lengths.

E-Valleys

The Corodrain E Type Universal Valley Trough is a narrow valley trough for use with single lap tiles in limited applications. There is a standard (type:HE) option. The valleys incorporate a 35mm sanded strip for the mortar adhesion. Available in standard weight in 1.8m, 2.4m and 3m lengths.

Dry Valleys

Dry fix valley trough completely eliminates risk of water coming into contact with the batten. No wet trades are required so it can be fitted in any weather. No clips needed, reducing time and hassle on site. Options include Traditional and Universal Dry Fix Valleys. Available in 3m lengths.

Joining Gutter

The Corodrain Joining Gutter provides a waterproof seal between the adjacent roofs of terraced houses or where a new roof needs to join an existing roof. The gutter can join any combination of slates, double lap or interlocking tiles with minimal disturbance to the adjacent roof. The design ensures there is a minimum kick up of the slates. There is a 50mm wide sanded strip for mortar retention.  Available in 1.8m, 2.4m and 3m lengths.

Dry Fix Joining Gutter

The joining gutters create a waterproof joint between two different roof coverings on tiled pitched roofs. without the need for mortar. Two profile options are available with central upstands at 100mm and 70mm.  They can be retrofitted to existing roofs or installed on new roof with minimal disturbance to the adjacent roof and property. Available in standard 3m lengths and 70mm and 100mm upstand options.

Abutment Soaker

Corodrain Abutment Soakers provide weatherproof protection between a pitched roof and a vertical wall abutment.  They are available lipped for fixing directly into the wall or unlipped for use with a separate flashing band.  Manufactured in GRP,  Corodrain Abutment Soakers are a tough and long lasting alternative to lead, and are cheaper, quicker to install and less prone to vandalism and theft. The bonded 25mm sanded strip give maximum mortar adhesion and the two water bars along the horizontal section prevent moisture entering the roof space. Available in standard 3m lengths.
