Features

• High Pressure treated with Tanalith 'E' (or similar), providing a 15 year service life when used above DPC and in accordance with approved trade practice.
• Regularised (consistent dimensions) by planing all round with 'eased' (rounded) corners for comfortable handling. Our regularised carcassing finishes 2mm off nominal thickness and 5mm off nominal width.
• Strength graded to C16 (we can also grade to C24) for known structural performance.
• Kiln dried, softwood for greater stability and better machined finish.
• Available in a selection of standard lengths with bespoke cross-cutting available (subject to branch availability).
• All of our softwoods are ethically and sustainably sourced from FSC or PEFC certified forests and sawmills.
• It is important that all cut ends are re-sealed with a proprietary treatment.
