These semi-rigid insulation slabs from Rockwool deliver exceptional thermal, fire and acoustic insulation in general building applications. With a 50mm thickness to suit your requirements, they are CE-marked and certified to EN 13162. These high-quality resin-bonded slabs are durable, water-repellent and cost-effective.
Lightweight and easy to handle and install, these Rockwool slabs can be simply cut into any shape with a sharp knife and have no maintenance needs once fitted. These unfaced slabs comply with the requirements of non-combustible materials/products, as defined in all UK and Ireland Building Regulations, due to achieving an A1 classification in accordance with BS EN 13501-1. The acoustic performance of these slabs is ideal for reducing noise by absorbing sound at the surface thanks to the structure of the fibres with characteristically high coefficients over a vast frequency range.
