The drying process is thorough, taking up to 72 hours to dry fully, contingent upon the ambient temperature. This ensures a resilient and long-lasting finish, contributing to the overall efficacy of the product. For optimal results, it is recommended that surfaces be clean, dry, and free from dust and debris prior to the application of Cromar Aluminium Solar Reflective Paint.

Please note:

Stir thoroughly before use. The appearance of a silver film on the surface of the paint after a short period of stirring does not signify that the paint is thoroughly uniform. It is advisable to stir for several minutes to ensure complete dispersion. For best results, mechanical stirring is the preferred choice.
Freshly applied bitumen coatings should be allowed to weather for at least 3 to 5 days before you apply this product.
For use on Roofing Felt the manufacturer recommends you prime the surface prior to applying the first coat of Aluminium Paint (Premium Grade).
Do not use in temperatures less than +5°C.
Two coats should be applied, the first being allowed to dry before the application of the second. To avoid bronzing it is important that this paint is not applied too thickly.
The presence of moisture on the surface of rain falling before the Aluminium Paint (Premium Grade) has dried can also cause bronzing.
Do not brush excessively as this can cause softening of the substrate.
