This FAKRO window flashing has been designed specifically for use where 94x 98cm FAKRO side hung escape windows are being installed on a tiled roof.
This flashing is designed for deep profiled interlocking tiles that include, but are not limited to, Redland pantiles, Forticrete Centurion and Senator tiles, Sandtoft Shire, Double Pantile, Double Roman and more.
The FAKRO flashing has been manufactured from aluminium, allowing malleability around the tiles and the side hung window. The FAKRO side hung flashing is then coated in polyester to improve durability, and finished in a brown grey shade (RAL 7022), which blends in well with most roof tiles.
FAKRO’s side hung escape windows are roof windows that open sideways, with a hinge on one side to allow the whole window to open completely, aided by a gas piston at the top of the window. The side hung escape window has been designed in such a way that it can be used as an emergency exit if required, providing easy and safe access to the roof, and can be purchased as a left opening or right opening window.
