This double glazed dome with a white uPVC curb has been created to make optimum use of natural light while the opal finish has a translucent surface that enhances security and evenly transmits and diffuses high levels of light into the room below.
Fabricated from essentially indestructible thermoformed polycarbonate sheet, this quality Em-Dome rooflight has an impact strength of up to 250 times tougher than glass. Exclusive to Em-Dome are the patented high security screwbolts that are provided factory fitted as standard. They ensure that once fitted, the system cannot be detached with the use of common tools while providing exceptional resistance to forced entry or tampering. With a fixing screw or bolt that is sleeved within the body of the screwbolt, this Em-Dome rooflight stops pressure from building up on the glazing as the fixing is attached which almost eliminates the risk of stress fractures triggered by over-tightening.
