This rectangular 1000mm x 1900mm Em-Dome rooflight consists of a white uPVC curb and dome manufactured from thermoformed polycarbonate sheet with double glazing, a minimum of 3mm thick glazing and opal tinted finish.
The opal properties of this quality Em-Dome rooflight enhance security due to the translucent surface while making optimal use of natural daylight by maintaining high levels of light transmission, steadily dispersed into the room below. In comparison to glass, this polycarbonate dome is practically unbreakable with up to 250 greater impact strength.
The patented and unique high-security screwbolts are supplied factory fitted as standard and ensure that once fitted, this Em-Dome rooflight cannot be removed with the use of common tools. These screwbolts offer incredible resistance to tampering or forced entry. The fixing is sleeved within the body of the screwbolt to prevent pressure from building up onto the rooflight glazing as it is tightened. This essentially eradicates the risk of over-tightening, initiating stress fractures.
