Essentially unbreakable, this dome is thermoformed from polycarbonate sheet with an impact resistance up to 250 times stronger than glass while the curb is manufactured from white uPVC. This 1200mm x 1800mm Em-Dome rooflight is double glazed with no less than a 3mm thickness of glazing.
This opal tinted rooflight takes complete advantage of using natural light for high levels of light transmission while evenly dispersing light into the area beneath with additional security due to its translucent surface.
This Em-Dome rooflight comes with patented and unique high security screwbolts that are provided factory fitted as standard. They make certain that this Em-Dome rooflight retains outstanding resistance to tampering or forced entry while once fitted, the rooflight cannot be uninstalled using common tools. Virtually removing the risk of stress fractures triggered by over-tightening, the fixing bolt or screw is sleeved within the body of the screwbolt to stop a build-up of pressure on the rooflight glazing as the fixing is secured.
