With dimensions of 1400mm x 1400mm, this high quality square Em-Dome rooflight has a curb made from white uPVC and a dome thermoformed from double glazed polycarbonate sheet with a minimum of 3mm thick glazing and an opal diffused tint.
Manufactured to take total advantage of using natural light, this Em-Dome rooflight's opal finish maintains high levels of light transmission, consistently dispersed into the area below with added security due to the translucent surface. With an impact strength up to 250 times tougher than glass, the polycarbonate material is almost indestructible.
This Em-Dome rooflight comes with exclusive and patented high security screwbolts that are factory fitted as standard to offer exceptional resilience to tampering or forced entry to ensure that once the rooflight is fixed, it cannot be removed by means of common tools. Within the screwbolt's body, bolts or screws are sleeved to inhibit an exertion of pressure onto the rooflight glazing as the fixings are secured. This helps to essentially eradicate the risk of stress fractures impacted by over-tightening.
