Maintaining optimal natural light transmission whilst evenly dispersing light into the room below, this opal tinted Em-Dome rooflight also improves security due to the translucent appearance while remaining virtually indestructible with up to 250 times greater impact strength than glass.
Thermoformed from polycarbonate sheet to a high quality, this Em-Dome rooflight is double glazed with a minimum 3mm thickness. The patented high security screwbolts, unique to Em-Dome ensure that once fitted, the fixing cannot be detached using common tools. The curb is fabricated from white uPVC. Supplied factory fitted as standard, the screwbolt ensures outstanding resilience against tampering or forced entry. The fixing bolt or screw is sleeved within the body of the screwbolt which inhibits pressure from being exerted on the glazing as the fixing is secured, practically removing the risk of stress fractures caused by over-tightening.
