Fabricated from double glazed thermoformed polycarbonate sheet with no less than 3mm thick glazing, this rectangular 700mm x 1000mm Em-Dome rooflight with a white uPVC curb has been created to make optimal use of natural light with its clear surface.
The polycarbonate material is almost unbreakable with an impact strength up to 250 times more superior than glass while the patented high security screwbolts, that are unique to Em-Dome and provided factory fitted as standard, ensure exceptional resistance to forced entry or tampering. These screwbolts cannot be removed with the use of common tools once fitted. Within the body of the screwbolt, the sleeved bolt or screw prevents pressure from building up on the Em-Dome rooflight glazing as the fixing is tightened. This effectively removes the risk of stress fractures triggered by over-tightening.
