This 700mm x 1000mm rectangular Em-Dome rooflight comprises a quality thermoformed polycarbonate dome with an opal tinted finish and a white uPVC curb and has been created to make optimal use of natural light while consistently transmitting and diffusing high levels of light into the area below.
The translucent surface enhances security while the durable polycarbonate structure, with a minimum of 3mm thick double glazing, has up to 250 times greater impact strength compared to glass meaning its essentially unbreakable.
This Em-Dome rooflight offers outstanding resistance to forced entry and tampering, due to the high-security screwbolts that are factory-fitted as standard and patented and unique to Em-Dome. Once fixed, this rooflight cannot be detached using common tools. The sleeved fixing within the body of the screwbolt helps to stop pressure from being exerted onto the glazing as it is secured. This effectively removes the potential for over-tightening which triggers stress fractures.
