This 800mm x 800mm square Em-Dome rooflight features a white uPVC curb and a double-glazed dome manufactured from thermoformed polycarbonate sheet with an opal tinted surface and a minimum of 3mm thick glazing.
Designed to make the most of using natural daylight, this Em-Dome rooflight's translucent finish helps to increase security while steadily diffusing high levels of light transmission into the room below. The polycarbonate structure compared to glass is practically indestructible with up to 250 times greater impact strength.
This Em-Dome rooflight cannot be removed by means of basic tools, once mounted, thanks to the patented and unique high-security screwbolts that are included factory-fitted as standard. They ensure brilliant resilience to forced entry or tampering. Within the body of the screwbolt, the fixing is sleeved to help stop pressure from exerting onto the rooflight glazing as it is attached. This means that the potential for over-tightening, which triggers stress fractures, is essentially eradicated.
