Thermoformed from polycarbonate sheet with double glazing and a minimum thickness of 3mm, this Em-Dome is practically unbreakable with up to 250 times greater impact strength than glass while the curb is manufactured from white uPVC. This high quality rooflight has been created to make optimum use of natural light while increasing security due to the translucent, opal tint and retaining superior light transmission for evenly diffused light.
Featuring patented high security screwbolts that are unique to Em-Dome and provided factory installed as standard, this rooflight ensures that the fixing cannot be detached using basic materials once fitted. Providing outstanding resistance to forced entry or tampering, the screwbolt virtually removes the risk of stress fractures produced by over-tightening by sleeving the fixing screws or bolts within its body which then eliminates pressure from being exerted on the glazing as the screws or bolts are secured.
