This 1100 x 1400mm double glazed rooflight from Whitesales has been manufactured as part of the Em-Glaze range of rooflights, supplied with a splayed kerb.
The Em-Glaze rooflights are designed by Whitesales to result in a high quality, aesthetically pleasing, pre-fabricated flat glass rooflight. Em-Glaze rooflights are available in a wide range of different sizes, so we are confident that you’ll find the perfect size rooflight for your latest project.
Each Em-Glaze rooflight is manufactured with a sealed glass unit, and a fully welded aluminium frame and cill detail. Any visible aluminium is polyester powder coated in light grey as standard, but this colour can be different is required.
Em-Glaze rooflights have been designed to provide maximum daylight, with a clean minimalistic finish inside and out. The Em-Glaze double glazed rooflight is provided with a 32mm hermetically sealed argon filled unit as standard, meaning that they are high performing and thermally insulating.
The argon filled double glazing is combined with a white extruded uPVC kerb, which has a multi-chambered construction, to provide further thermal efficiency.
The splayed kerb supplied with this rooflight is higher than a regular vertical kerb, allowing the rooflight to be installed at a higher level than the regular vertical kerb would allow. The kerb is splayed to provide further structural rigidity than a regular kerb due to the extra height.
By introducing a double glazed rooflight with a splayed kerb, the spread of light into the room is increased and therefore the brightness of the room is more consistent throughout the floor space.
