Ideal for parapet wall corners where you require water to flow away from the property, this once weathered coping stone is 50mm thick on the inner side and 75mm thick on the outside edge of the stone. This creates the sloping effect that allows rainwater to run off away from your property efficiently and protects the wall beneath.
As well as an effective form of weather protection for the top layer of masonry at a wall corner, the stones come in various colour options, meaning you can create stylish decorative finishes to your wall. Due to how these concrete returns are made, these handmade products are subject to manufacturers tolerances. Because of how the stones are lifted from their moulds, they each feature a slight tapering at the corners - this tapering is no more than 10mm.
Each 50mm-75mm once weathered coping exterior return features two 10mm wide drip grooves positioned 20mm from either side of the stone's undersides. They help protect your walls from water penetration which, over time, can cause damage and staining. Rather than allowing rainwater to run down the sides of the stones and underneath towards the wall, as rainwater reaches the drip groove, it instead drops down to the ground, leaving the wall protected.
Due to being manufactured from natural, quarried materials, there will inevitably be variations in some coping stone colours from one batch to another. It's also worth noting that the true final finish will not be revealed until a period of exposure to sunlight and some weathering. All Eurodec coping stones are resistant to fading caused by UV rays in average climate conditions.
