EVERBUILD DEEP FILL 750 is cement based smoothing and levelling compound  used to level out uneven floors and screeds down to a depth of 50mm in one coat. DEEP FILL 750 is ideal for levelling very uneven  floors prior to laying ceramic and thermoplastic tiles, lino, wood block flooring or carpet. When mixed as directed, the compound provides a free flowing/trowelable mix that sets in 3 hours and can be overlaid after only 12 hours at normal temperatures. NOTE: This product is not suitable for use as a final wearing surface.

Limitations

For internal use only.
Always mix with clean fresh water and always prime floors as directed.
Always apply this product whilst primer coat is still damp.
Never exceed the quantity of water stated. This will dramatically reduce strength and cause cracking.
Do not mix more compound than can be laid in 20 minutes and never try to reconstitute once the product has set.
On substrates where under floor heating is in place, switch of the heating for 24 hours before and after application.
Do not use this product below 4oC.
In areas where movement is anticipated, always use EVERBUILD FLOOR FLEX PLUS rather than water. NO OTHER MANUFACTURERS PRODUCT MAY BE USED.
To avoid cracking/crazing, existing concrete screeds/asphalt/bitumen/bituminous coatings must be a minimum of 4 weeks old before overlaying with this product.
As the manufacturer cannot know all the uses its products may be put to, it is the user’s responsibility to determine suitability for use. If in doubt, contact the manufacturers Technical Services Department.

Surface Preparation

SAND/CEMENT RENDER
Allow at least four weeks drying before application. Dampen floors and prime with EVERBUILD PVA diluted 1:3 with water. Mix with water as detailed below. For surfaces to be subjected to heavy foot traffic, use EVERBUILD FLOOR FLEX PLUS rather than water when mixing the powder.

TIMBER FLOORS
Suitable for interior floors only.  Floors must be securely screwed down at 300mm centres. Apply Everbuild SBR Bond to the floor at a 1:1 dilution and apply to subfloor whilst the bonding coat is still tacky.
   
EXISTING VINYL TILES
Ensure tiles are clean and sound. Prime with Everbuild SBR diluted 1:1 with water and apply floor level compound mixed with FLOOR FLEX PLUS over tiles whilst primer coat is still tacky.  Allow 24 hours before applying final covering.

Application

Floors to be treated must be free from grease, dust and loose particles. Existing concrete/asphalt screeds must be a minimum of 4 weeks old before applying this product.  Always prepare floors by dampening with water then priming with EVERBUILD PVA BOND diluted 1 part PVA to 3 parts water to give a sound, translucent, slightly damp surface. DO NOT ALLOW TO FULLY DRY and do not allow primer coat to “pond” 

20kg of DEEP FILL 750 will require 3.4 litres of water DO NOT USE EXCESS WATER.  Always add the powder to water. This should be carried out by stepwise addition whilst stirring until a free flowing creamy compound is produced. Mix for 3-5 minutes with a slow speed drill.   Pour the mixture out on to the damp primed  floor. Trowel down lightly  to achieve a smooth surface texture and an overall thickness of between 1 and 50mm. Where further finishing is required, allow the surface to stiffen, usually ¾ to one hour after application, and lightly sprinkle with water and carefully trowel to produce a smooth appearance. Do not sprinkle excessive water or over trowel at this stage.

For areas where heavy loading and/or trafficking are anticipated on the final surface, mix DEEP FILL 750 with neat EVERBUILD FLOOR FLEX PLUS rather than water. This will improve flexibility, adhesion and durability of the screed. The mixing ratio is approximately 20kg of powder to 4ltrs of neat liquid. Again, prime the floor with EVERBUILD PVA BOND diluted 1 part PVA to 3 water and apply whilst primer coat is still damp.

TIMBER FLOORS/EXISTING TILING/ASPHALT
Degrease and roughen up any glaze on existing tiling or asphalt prior to laying this product. Suitable for small areas (1m2 max) over interior timber floors only.  Timber floors must be securely screwed down at 300mm centres. In all cases, apply EVERBUILD SBR BOND as a bonding coat to the floor at a 1:1 dilution with water. Mix DEEP FILL 750 with neat EVERBUILD FLOOR FLEX PLUS (20kg of powder to 4ltrs of liquid) and apply to sub floor whilst the bonding coat is still tacky.
