This FAKRO flashing has been designed for use with standard 66 x 118cm FAKRO roof windows on tiled roofs, providing the benefits of standard FAKRO flashings, but with added insulating properties.
This flashing is designed for non interlocking plain tiles including Redland Rosemary Clay, Redland Plain tiles, Marley Acme and Ashdowne plain tiles, Forticrete plain tiles and more.
The FAKRO thermo flashing consists of standard flashing, but with additional insulation around the flashing. The additional insulation helps to improve the insulating properties of the FAKRO window, creating an extra tight seal around the window, and avoiding thermal bridging and heat loss.
The flashing is manufactured from aluminium, which allows malleability around tiles and the roof window. The flashing also features flexible insulating material to reduce heat loss, and is then coated with a polyester covering to maximise durability. The flashing is then finished in black (RAL9005), creating a subtle finish which tends to fit in with most roof colourings.
