With their innovative large format design, these Forticrete SL8® roof tiles manage to combine all the visual characteristics of natural slate whilst ensuring superior features compared to other interlocking tiles on the market.
All SL8® tiles are factory blended to limit the chance of colour batching variations. Available in various traditional colours, the SL8® range has an option for all projects requiring a classic slate roof appearance. Forticrete has also designed the SL8® with a leading edge that is 50% thinner than alternative large format tiles on the market, making it a much closer imitation of natural slate.
Whereas alternative tiles on the market generally offer coverage of ten tiles per square metre, the SL8® boasts a superior coverage of just eight tiles per square metre. This means a 20% reduction in the number of tiles used, resulting in fewer tiles to handle and lay, meaning installation can be completed much quicker and more efficiently.
