This tile is not suitable for use on Pave Support Pads.
Manufactured from a blend of High Strength Portland Cement, Silica Sand, admixtures, finest quality pigments (where applicable),
alkali resistant Glass Fibre for tensile strength and processed granular Mendip Limestone to improve wear.
Question:
I have been advised to buy these promenade tiles to sit on top of a fibreglass balcony roof. Can you advise how to fix them? Can they be floating so that water can drain or do you stick these tiles?
Answer:
Please be advised the Grey Bauhaus GRC tiles are designed to be fixed with the Eurodec PU Adhesive.
When bonding to GRP ensure the substrate is suitably textured to the allow the adhesive to bond.
With regards to rainwater run-off there should be a fall of between 1.40 : 1.80 on the roof, this allows the water to drain through the 3mm joints between the tiles to the outlets.
