Kytun’s dry verge for man-made slate is compatible with interlocking slates and man-made double lap slates to permanently protect the verge and gable end from wind uplift and rain. The dry verges will assist in securing the slate on gable ends, finishing off your project with a neat, weatherproof and continuous verge. An integral drip channel is built into each dry verge unit to channel rainwater from the eaves into the gutters.
This dry verge is Type 2 so each unit is manufactured from pieces of high-grade polyester coated aluminium as well as from extruded UV-inhibited PVC-U. The components are all high-durability and extremely reliable, contributing to a long-lasting verge. Maintenance free and compatible with most man-made slates, this dry verge is 18mm with a maximum individual slate thickness of 6mm.
Compatible with brick, render and bargeboard constructions, each product offers a pack of 4 x 2.4m lengths, totalling 9.6m of verge. The measurement from the flat face to the edge of trim is 38mm, if you view the top image next to the main image above there is a dimensions drawing of the verge which should show this clearer.
