This triple skin opening rooflight from Mardome has been manufactured as part of the Mardome Ultra range of rooflights. The Mardome Ultra rooflights are architecturally inspired roof domes and rooflights that deliver maximum natural light without compromising on security, design or efficiency.
The Mardome Ultra triple skin rooflight is a contemporary low rise rooflight that opens up to 30 degrees. By opening to 30 degrees, the triple skin rooflight provides a source of fresh air when required, acting as a natural source of ventilation, but is a small enough gap that it will not allow access onto the roof or into the building, for security purposes.
The Mardome Ultra triple skin opening rooflight comes with the low-rise dome profile, a multi-wall kerb with insulating properties, and tamper proof security fixings. The insulating multi-wall kerb combines with the triple glazing to minimise heat loss and retain the thermal efficiency of the building, whilst the security fixings increase peace of mind by preventing unwanted entry.
The rooflight is manufactured from Marlon FSX Longlife polycarbonate, which is impact resistant and stronger than glass - further improving security and longevity.
This Mardome Ultra triple skin opening rooflight is supplied in a opal tint.
The opal tint on the triple skin opening rooflight is more of a translucent shade, helping to create diffused light transmission instead of direct light transmission. This prevents glare from occurring, and also adds privacy by preventing objects and views from being visible.
