Mardome Trade double glazed access hatches comprise of a kerb, dome and insulated PVC upstand. The rooflight opens to between 70° and 83° to allow for access to roofs for both maintenance and as an emergency exit. Two gas struts hold the rooflight open and keep it securely in place.
The Mardome Trade triple skin access hatch consists of a kerb, a roof dome and an insulated PVC upstand. The Mardome Trade double skin rooflight is available in a wide range of sizes, and is designed with a sleek, contemporary design that will suit most buildings. Additionally, the rooflight is finished with a crisp white colour. The multi-wall kerb provides a level of insulation, and when combined with the triple skin glazing, helps to minimise heat loss through the roof window.
This Mardome Trade triple skin access hatch is supplied in a bronze tint.
The bronze tint on the triple skin opening rooflight has been designed to reduce glare from the sun, helping to not only prevent direct sunlight from entering the room, which can cause issues when looking at screens, but also to protect internal objects such as furniture from fading over time.
