For effortless installation, you can secure this slate using 30mm x 2.65mm slate nails and 19mm diameter by 2mm stem copper disc rivets.

Please note:

The Cedral Thrutone slates are delivered on a six-wheeled lorry measuring 11m long by 2.4m wide with a tail lift facility and pump truck. To facilitate unloading, it is crucial to have solid, level ground. Failure to consider these delivery requirements may result in additional charges. If a crane off-load or a small vehicle is necessary, please inform us at the time of ordering, as an extra charge may be incurred.
It is strongly recommended to order an additional 5% of slates to account for any acceptable breakage during transportation or installation
Please be aware that Cedral Thrutone slates are not suitable for roofs with VELUX windows if the roof pitch is below 20°.

If you mean to fix vertically you would have to counter batten first to fix to. You would not be able to just adhere these I am afraid.

How do you seal a roof of 600 x 300mm Thrutone slates to a roof of 500 x 250mm natural slates?

Answer:

For where the two styles join on the roof you would need to use something like a Bonding gutter linked below.
