Description

Treated counter batten perfect for creating an air gap below rafters. High quality treated sawn timber for general construction uses.

These 50mm x 50mm timber battesn are high pressure treated with Tanalith 'E' (or similar). It is important that all cut ends are re-sealed with a proprietary treatment. All of our softwoods are responsibly sourced.

Please note there is minimum order quantity of 20 linear meters with this product.

Please note: Lengths provided vary depending on your area as we source locally, normally lengths are between 3.6m-4.8m. If you order the total linear meterage required it will be provided in what lengths are available.

Features

High Pressure treated with Tanalith 'E' (or similar), providing a 15 year service life when used above DPC and in accordance with approved trade practice.
Regularised (consistent dimensions) by planing all round with 'eased' (rounded) corners for comfortable handling. Our regularised carcassing finishes 2mm off nominal thickness and 5mm off nominal width.
Strength graded to C16 (we can also grade to C24) for known structural performance.
Kiln dried, softwood for greater stability and better machined finish.
Available in a selection of standard lengths with bespoke cross-cutting available (subject to branch availability).
All of our softwoods are ethically and sustainably sourced from FSC or PEFC certified forests and sawmills.
It is important that all cut ends are re-sealed with a proprietary treatment.
