The Cutter woodscrew range from Reisser incorporates high performance and quality with its ingenious design. Suitable for most wood types such as softwood, hardwood and particle board, the Cutter woodscrew can be used to fix a range of timber products including roof battens. The two patented slots (25mm and above) allows the screw to work closer to the edge without splitting and damaging the wood. One unique feature of the Cutter woodscrew is the ribs and tucks that are situated under the screw head. This design enables the screw to sit flush and tight to the surface without damage and splintering.
With its Yellow Tropicalized coating, Reisser's Cutter woodscrew gives superior corrosion resistance compared to a standard BZP coating. The 20° needle point means almost all timbers can be penetrated immediately without the need for a pilot hole. The sharp, wide deep thread with unique Reisser lubrication gives up to 40% less driving resistance ensuring ease of penetration. The deep reinforced countersunk head recess allows the best possible fit to the driver bit, reducing the chances of 'cam out' - the process whereby the bit slips out of the screw head, damaging the screw. As well as this, it also provides extra strength at the critical junction between shank and head.
