Roofing superstore SBS Fast-Torch plus torch-on roofing membranes are a range of high performance bituminous membranes specially designed for the professional roofer looking for the best in performance combined with ease of application. Each roll is 8m x 1m in size.
The reinforcement used in the Roofing Superstore SBS Fast-Torch plus range of elastomeric membranes represents the latest in membrane technology and when correctly installed they can satisfy the waterproofing requirement of the most demanding specification.
Roofing superstore Fast-Torch plus roofing membrane is an isotropic, thermally bonded and rot proof non-woven spunbond polyester carrier which gives the product excellent mechanical characteristics and stability.
High elasticity makes it perfect for all structures particularly subject to dimensional variations and wherever elasticity and resistance is required.
Keep the rolls in the upright position, protected from the sun (temperature ranging between 0°C and 40°C) and well away from heat sources and electrical plant.
No measures are needed to prevent the build-up of static electricity. Keep proper fire-fighting equipment available at all times.
1. The deck surface should be prepared correctly (all debris removed).
2. The surface should be coated with bitumen primer.
3. The rolls should be aligned, with lap joints of at least 8.5cm.
4. The membrane should be applied with an appropriate propane gas torch.
5. The end laps should be melted and refinished with a heated towel. The lap should be 10cm.
6. If the bituminous membrane is not protected with chippings it should be coated with sintal aluminium paint.
