The Hambleside Danelaw 680mm x 450mm Slate Roof Vent is a high-performance solution designed for optimal ventilation in slate roofing applications, compatible with both man-made and natural slates. Manufactured from high-density polypropylene in black, the vent exhibits UV light and acid rain resistance, maintaining stability in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +120°C. Its large base caters to 'random' slate roofs and can be conveniently trimmed to accommodate 600 x 300mm slates, offering flexibility in installation, with minimal slate cutting required.
With an actual ventilation area of 20,000mm², this slate roof vent promotes superior airflow, contributing to a well-ventilated roofing system. The versatility of this product extends beyond standard ventilation, as it can also be used for soil ventilation and mechanical extraction when paired with the HDSPA 680 soil pipe adapter kit. With a base size of 680mm x 450mm, this slate vent requires a minimum rafter pitch of 22.5° or 25°, depending on the head lap.
