For standard installation heights, you should install the brackets at the bottom and top of the window frame, level with the red line. This VELUX flashing integrates with the roof covering, sitting under the roofing materials for a discreet appearance, to deliver a watertight finish around your window and for effective water drainage down the side of your window. VELUX flashings are also made from corrosion-proof materials.
