Manufactured by VELUX, this EDW FK04 2000 insulated single tile flashing kit is designed for forming watertight finishes around a window in flat or profiled roofing material with up to a 120mm profile. In this kit, you are supplied with a BFX underfelt collar and a BDX insulation collar.
The flashing sits underneath the roof material for a subtle appearance, which can be flat or profiled, including interlocking slate, thatch or corrugated sheet, and is installed with brackets at either end of the window frame at the red line level. As rainwater flows down the roof and towards the guttering, it faultlessly and runs down the side of the window.
The BFX underfelt collar ensures a watertight seal between your roof and window while the BDX insulation collar insulates the window frame to minimise heat loss and eradicate cold bridges.
