This VELUX duo blackout blind is available in green and white, and is manufactured in a number of sizes to fit a VELUX roof window.
The VELUX duo blackout blind consists of a combination of the classic VELUX blackout blind and the semi-opaque VELUX pleated blind. The pleated blind is white, and the blackout blind is green. The combination of two types of blinds provides optimum flexibility and light control that is otherwise unobtainable with a standard blind.
The VELUX duo blackout blind in green and white provides the best of both worlds when it comes to light control. Use the pleated section of the green and white VELUX duo blind to soften and diffuse incoming natural light, or alternatively use the blackout blind to create total darkness, regardless of the time of day.
The VELUX green and white blackout blind consists of two cloths that although joined to each other, can be moved independently. The duo blackout blind sits within aluminium side rails, which provides smooth movement and stepless positioning – meaning that the blind can be stopped at any point up or down the window for maximum control.
The duo blackout blind in green and white is manually operated, with two control bars for maximum control. One control bar is situated between the two cloths, whilst the other is at the bottom of the pleated cloth. This means that when desired, the pleated cloth can be pulled down independently, or when total darkness is preferred, the other control bar between the cloths can be pulled down.
If required, control rods, rod extension pieces and rod adapters can be used to operate the green and white duo blackout blind, which is particularly useful on high up VELUX roof windows and in hard to reach places.
