The VELUX smoke ventilation systems, also known as smoke ventilation roof windows, can be used for comfort ventilation as well as acting as a smoke ventilator that can be used in compliance with the European Standard for smoke and heat exhaust ventilators (EN 12101-2). When used as comfort ventilation, the smoke ventilation systems can open by up to a recommended maximum of 200mm.
