With a triple glazed dome thermoformed from polycarbonate sheet and a white curb made from uPVC, this quality Em-Dome rooflight has been manufactured to make optimum use of natural light while the opal finish advances security due to the translucent surface as well as transmitting high levels of light, steadily diffused into the area below.
With up to 250 times stronger impact resistance than glass, this polycarbonate rooflight has a minimum of 3mm thick glazing and is virtually indestructible with outstanding resilience against forced entry or tampering thanks to the patented high security screwbolts that are unique Em-Dome and provided factory fitted as standard. Once fixed, the installation cannot be detached with the use of common tools. With sleeved fixing bolts or screws within the body of the screwbolt, this Em-Dome rooflight avoids pressure from being exerted on the glazing as the fixing is tightened which almost eradicates the potential for stress fractures triggered by over-tightening.
