What types of ladders are there, and which one do I need?

Step ladders

Extendable Ladders

Telescopic ladders are so named due to their collapsable function that is similar to that of a telescope. They operate on a ‘nesting system’ where each section fits into the next when taken down. Loft Ladders

Loft ladders, or loft hatch ladders are the ultimate access point to your loft, attic, or inside of your roof. Loft ladders connected to loft hatches are especially convenient, as they do not require a separate ladder to access your belongings or carry out a roof inspection, meaning you don’t have to struggle with heavy lifting or storing the loft ladder individually. Loft hatch ladders are often safer than having a separate ladder, as they carefully connect the loft opening, and some even feature handrails for added safety.
