Flat Roof Ventilation

Roof Vent Pipes
Roof vent pipes are part of the wider plumbing system in a house or building. These are vertical pipes that run up along the structure and out of the roof's surface. Their main function is to prevent gases from sewer pipes being released internally. This balances the air pressure and prevents water seals from being broken from a build-up of pressure.
Roof Vent Terminals
Roof vent terminals are a protective fitting to prevent any damage to the roof vent pipe, as well as a build up of debris or nesting animals. They attach on to the end of the pipe which sticks out of the roof, and are available in many different diameters in order to fit on to a variety of sized pipes. It is important to note that choosing the correct flange is integral, as this should match the material of your roof, whether it is bitumen, EPDM or something else, as this will enable secure waterproofing.
