With a dome made from thermoformed polycarbonate sheet with a minimum of 3mm thick glazing and a curb manufactured from white uPVC, this quality double glazed Em-Dome rooflight has been designed to make the most of using natural light with maximum light transmission.
This double glazed polycarbonate rooflight is virtually indestructible with a stronger impact resistance by up to 250 times greater than glass. With patented high security screwbolts that are supplied factory fitted as standard and unique to Em-Dome, this rooflight ensures that once installed, it cannot be detached using common tools. Additionally, the screwbolts deliver excellent resilience against tampering or forced entry while the sleeved fixing screws or bolts within the screwbolt's body prevent pressure from being exerted on the glazing as the fixings are tightened. This essentially removes the potential for stress fractures triggered by over-tightening.
