This quality square 700mm x 700mm Em-Dome features a double-glazed clear dome fabricated from thermoformed polycarbonate sheet as well as a white uPVC curb. The tough polycarbonate material is virtually indestructible in comparison to glass as it has up to 250 times stronger impact resistance. With a minimum of 3mm thick glazing, the clear finish makes optimal use of natural daylight.
Once connected, this Em-Dome rooflight cannot be detached by means of common tools thanks to the unique and patented high-security screwbolts that are delivered factory-fitted as standard, offering exceptional resistance to forced entry or tampering. The fixing is sleeved within the body of the screwbolt to help inhibit pressure from building up onto the glazing as it is tightened. This ensures the potential for over-tightening, which initiates stress fractures, is virtually eradicated.
