Made from polypropylene, this Surefast Tube Washer has a length of 100mm and comes in a pack of 100. It works to mechanically fix insulation to steel, timber and concrete decks in combination with the appropriate SureFast® fasteners, practically eliminating thermal transmittance and unwinding forces.
To enhance the benefits of your tube system, the perfect combination is to use the minimum fastener length and the maximum length of tube available. The tube washer must be selected first, then the fastener can be chosen.
To decide on the maximum tube length (B), subtract 20mm from the total build-up of the roof system to allow for (A) compression of the insulation. Pick the tube with that length or shorter. For example, with a requirement for an R-75 tube washer and an 85mm build-up, the maximum tube length would be 656mm, so the 60mm long R-75 x 60 would be chosen.

These go into the insultion then you would screw fis through the bottom of them into your roof deck, please see the technical drawing on the listing to see this clearer.
