Designed to comply with monument preservation requirements, this RoofLITE+ Solid Conservation centre-pivot roof window is crafted from kiln-dried laminated pine wood and coated with a water-based lacquer and fungicide protection. With a standard frame width, it offers excellent thermal insulation with a Uw value of 1.3W/m²K.
Withstanding most harsh weather conditions, including strong winds and heavy rain, this Solid Conservation roof window features a toughened outer pane which is resilient against branches and hail. With a black exterior finish which sets it apart from standard grey RoofLITE+ windows, it also has a black vertical strip running the complete height of the pane which is perfect for use with heritage properties with conservation building regulations.
Despite its traditional aesthetic, this RoofLITE+ window offers enhanced comfort throughout everyday use as it has modern features such as a ventilation valve for effortless inflow of air even when the window is shut and double glazing with low-emission coatings which are heat reflective. Thanks to the sleek zinc-moulded handle at the base, it also features two passive ventilation positions which enable fresh air to circulate.
Installing this Solid Conservation window is straightforward when it's combined with a dedicated installation flashing for the Conservation series which matches the black finish of the window's exterior for a visually appealing and cohesive appearance. This RoofLITE+ Solid Conservation window must be fitted using a specific flashing kit which ensures complete tightness of fit between the window and roofing material. The flashing must be selected in accordance with your roofing material.
