Alumasc have designed a fixing strap as part of the Alumasc Skyline range of aluminium coping, which is the method of fixing the Skyline aluminium coping.
This fixing strap is available in 302mm, to suit a wall thickness of 181mm to 240mm.
The Alumasc Skyline range of aluminium coping products consists of a range of coping products for use at roofing and gutter interfaces. The Skyline aluminium coping range has been designed for use with Alumasc’s aluminium gutter and rainwater systems, to create a complete eaves and roof drainage system that works together efficiently and precisely.
The copings are installed with a strapping method, consisting of a fixing strap profile that has an integral EPDM seal. This means there is no penetration required, which helps to improve weathertightness. Additionally, the strapping method also allows ventilation to occur over the top of the wall. This strap fixing provides rigidity and strength, but the fixings are not visible, improving the overall aesthetics of the product.
Skyline aluminium coping products are available in a wide range of different colours, which are polyester powder coated in-house at Alumasc. The colour can be chosen to blend in with existing roofing materials, or alternatively a contrasting colour shade can help add an element of design and colour.
