This in-line vent can be used as a soil vent or mechanical extraction vent within the roof space of a building. This in-line soil/mechanical extraction vent is part of Decra's Oberon range, which consists of lightweight ceramically glazed tiles that can be used as alternatives or replacements for other roof tiles.
This Decra in-line soil or mechanical extraction vent has been designed in a bark colour, which makes it the perfect replacement for more traditional wooden shingles, as a more durable and stable alternative.
In-line soil or mechanical extraction vents can be used to provide a continous source of ventilation. These mechanical extraction vents are particularly suitable in rooms that experience high levels of humidity or dampness, such as kitchens and bathrooms. They help to draw warm moist air out of the room and into the external environment. Soil vents are situated in the roofline where a soil pipe reaches the roof, and allows unpleasant odours to be released into the external environment.
