This FAKRO flashing has been designed specifically for standard FAKRO windows that are installed on a slate roof in a recessed style, allowing the FAKRO window to sit within the roofline.
The FAKRO flashing for installing standard FAKRO windows recessed in slate roofs is manufactured from aluminium, with a protective polyester coating for extra durability. The flashing is then finished in a brown grey shade (RAL 7022), which helps it to blend in with most roof coverings.
This FAKRO flashing can be used with slate products that are up to 10mm thick, when a recessed window is desired. Slate products that are suitable for use with this flashing include traditional natural slates, as well as fibre cement slate products produced by brands such as Marley.
