As a component in Res-Tec's Flexitec 2020 System, the 225g Chopped Strand Matting offers a 25m² coverage, enables resilient and smooth surfaces, and facilitates even resin applications. Flexitec 2020, a flexible single-resin Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) system, seamlessly combines the advantages of fibreglass with overlay system adaptability, providing full overlay and new deck capabilities for varied applications.
Designed for various roofing surfaces, including GRP, felt, concrete, asphalt, PVC single-ply, metal details and approved insulation boards, Flexitec 2020 boasts a rapid curing time. With a durable finish that can be walked over within 30 to 60 minutes, it creates a seamless membrane free of any joints, welds or weak points, making a perfect tool for roofs of diverse shapes and sizes without the need for expansion joints.
Flexitec 2020 can be applied in temperatures ranging from 5°C to 30°C, allowing cold application to enhance safety and negate the need for open flames and other hot works. It can also be repaired and overcoated without the need for grinding, and an additional anti-slip finish is available for elevating balconies and walkways.
A single-coat application provides a 10-year repair system, while a two-coat application extends the roofing system's lifespan to 20 years. When installed by trained professionals, the two-coat system includes Res-Tec's reliable 20-year materials guarantee.
