They can ventilate an area of up to 36 square metres and will bond perfectly to asphalt, bituminous felt and plastic roofing materials. Each vent has a base diameter of 267mm, a height of 197mm and an aperture base of 184mm.
The vent is manufactured in polypropylene and has a base finish in grey, with the dome covered in white. The dome is fixed to the base with screws into a self-locking brass insert for secure and sturdy fittings.

These vents can each service an area of up to 36m2 so I do not think you would need as many as one per joist, but more you can ventilate the better.
