Find out moreSuitable for soil and vent systems, Ubbink's OFT/1F Flat Roof Vent/Terminal is the perfect option for flat roof extraction. It is also usable for natural (passive) or mechanical ventilation installations. Ideal for a felt roof covering, providing a large free vent area with a low Pascal resistance figure.
This vent/terminal is available with varying pipe diameters to allow termination through a flat roof to ducting. There are also varying flange types, five included, for different roof coverings such as Asphalt, Felt, EPDM, Bitumen and PVC. Additionally, the Ubbink OFT/1 has a stack cap to fix mechanically to ensure the system is more secure when installed in extreme weather. If needed, this part is removable for servicing purposes.

Question:
We are considering this for venting a bathroom fan out to a rubber-covered flat roof. We have a rubber flange that looks like a witches hat which you cut down to the correct size to allow the vent to pass through it. Do we stick this down over the metal flange? If so, what are the dimensions of the metal flange so I can check our rubber "witches hat" flange will cover it?
Answer:
Yes — your rubber “witches‑hat” EPDM flange does get bonded over the metal flange on the Ubbink OFT‑1F.
The metal flange on the 110 mm model is 330 mm in diameter, so your EPDM boot must comfortably cover at least that area
