AlumTech is a radiant insulation for application on pitched roofs. It consists of two layers of bubble polyethylene and two layers of low emission aluminium foil, continuously thermo welded. The materials used to make AlumTech are absolutely safe, non toxic and non harmful.
AlumTech allows you to create an insulation system that achieves 0.2U value for the life of your roof, as required by PART L Building Regulations and utilizes the minimum amount of space to do so.
Technical Performance
AlumTech forms part of an insulation system and is not intended for use in isolation. The product has been exhaustively tested at the National Physical Laboratory for reliability and acceptability by local authority building control. Thermal performance of reflective insulating materials is not affected by vapour absorption unlike some traditional insulating products.
