Britmet LiteSlate is a synthetic slate manufactured from recycled synthetic materials to give an authentic and traditional slate roof look without the hassle or weight of genuine slate. For pitches as low as 14.5°C and using a maximum of 22 tiles per m2, Britmet LiteSlate in Pantone Black is 100% dry fix with the capability to withstand light foot traffic.
Unlike traditional slate, Britmet LiteSlate won’t break or crack during its quick installation. It will be cut using a sharp blade negating the use of expensive and heavy slate cutters or tools. Britmet LiteSlate is simply fixed with nails and 5.5 ridge/hip tiles per linear metre. Virtually maintenance free, Britmet LiteSlate has a 40-year life expectancy.
