Cromar's Renocoat Water-Based Roof Tile Renovation paint makes your roof look brand new. Suitable for use on exterior roofs, it has fantastic adhesion properties on porous surfaces and ensures long-lasting protection. It also supplies a decorative finish for slate and concrete roof tiles.
This Terracotta 100% acrylic coating is durable and contains light-fast qualities. Coverage rates can vary with roof profile and substrate porosity, but the first coat has a guideline coverage of 3 - 5m² per litre. Second coats have a rate of 7 - 10m² per litre.
Best applied with a brush or an airless sprayer, this Renocoat should have two coats. The first coat should dry overnight before the second coat is applied. Applications should be on clean power washed or brush-washed surfaces, and broken and missing tiles should be replaced and ridge/top tiles re-cemented beforehand. Use Cromar Moss and Mould Remover solution to stop fungal/algae growth.
Suited for dry conditions. Work should not go underway if rain is forecast within six hours of application, when the relative humidity level surpasses 90%, in frosty conditions or when the substrate temperature is beneath 5° or over 35°C to prevent drying.
